Hi! My name is Ivy, and I'm the founder of IvyPlantsShop, based in Plano, Texas. My passion for plants began in late 2018 when I bought my first fiddle leaf fig plant from Lowe's. The joy and contentment I felt bringing that first plant home surprised me, and it sparked an unexpected love for greenery. Within a week, I found myself acquiring more plants, and in less than two months, I had nearly 20 plants crammed into my one-bedroom apartment.

As someone who experiences high anxiety, tending to my plants became a therapeutic escape. By January 2019, I realized I wanted to share this happiness with others through a business. It was incredible to think I could create a space that spreads joy and fulfillment. I began experimenting with growing and propagating, specializing in uncommon tropical plants. Soon enough, my apartment was overflowing with greenery, and the rewarding feeling of providing healthy, rooted plants to fellow plant enthusiasts became a driving force for me.

In September 2019, IvyPlantsShop was officially launched to serve the plant community across the United States.
