These are reusable plastic straws with a stopper at the end (it helps the straw not slide out of most lids - this straw will still slide out of the bamboo lid as the whole is bigger) that measures 8" in length. The straw is recommended to be washed by hand but can be washed in the dishwasher. It is very natural that the print will fade over time with normal wear and tear, so do not be alarmed!
